Obverse description The Tunisian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing scales of justice, a lion, a sailing ship, and a stylised sea motif, surmounted by a crescent and star emblem. The shield is flanked by decorative scrollwork devices at left and right. The Arabic legend 'الجمهورية التونسية' (The Tunisian Republic) curves along the upper rim, while the denomination '10 دنانير' (10 Dinars) appears in large numerals and Arabic script at the base.
