| 裏面の説明 | Central vignette of a lush Tunisian oasis landscape with tall palm trees, cultivated fields and a horse-drawn cart in the foreground, rendered in a detailed engraved style with green and brown tones. The legend "DIX DINARS" appears in large letterpress text at the lower centre, while "BANQUE CENTRALE DE TUNISIE" is inscribed in the upper border panel. Guilloche rosettes occupy both lower corners, and an elaborate ornamental border frames the entire composition. |

Tunisia's 1969 10 Dinar note was printed by the Banque de France — an arrangement common among Francophone African states in the years following independence, when domestic printing infrastructure simply didn't exist. The Banque Centrale de Tunisie had only been established in 1958, replacing the colonial-era Institut d'Émission, and the relationship with Paris for currency production continued well into the following decade.
The watermark is the sole listed security feature, which reflects the relatively modest anti-counterfeiting expectations of the period for a denomination of this size in the Tunisian market.
