| Obverse description | The stylized Federal Eagle of Germany with wings spread wide occupies the central field, rendered in a bold, modernist style with the head turned to the right. The legend BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND arcs along the upper periphery, while DEUTSCHE 10 MARK appears along the lower periphery. The date 1990 is inscribed to the right of the eagle, and the mint mark J (Hamburg) appears to the right as well, flanked by two vertical lines serving as decorative separators above and below the denomination. |
