Obverse description The obverse is printed in black with green and orange guilloche underprints, framed by an ornate lathe-work border. A central vignette presents a seated allegorical female figure reclining against a sheaf of grain, rendered in intaglio. The bank title BANCO SALVADOREÑO appears in large red letterpress across the upper portion, flanked on either side by denomination numerals '10' within elaborate geometric rosettes, with the date '1° DE JUNIO DE 1920' and place of issue 'SAN SALVADOR' inscribed in the lower margin.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in dark brown, with an elaborate symmetrical lathe-work design filling the entire field, incorporating intricate spider-web guilloche patterns radiating from a central oval medallion. Denomination numerals '10' appear at left and right within the geometric border.
