| Descrição do anverso | Central field occupied by the elaborately interlaced Gothic cipher of King Willem II, surmounted by the Dutch royal crown with pearl-studded band and floral finials. The crowned monogram is flanked on either side by decorative scrolled ribbons that curl outward toward the coin's rim. The date 1843 appears in the lower field beneath the monogram, rendered in large serif numerals. The overall composition is bold and fills the flan, with finely engraved cross-hatching providing depth to the background of the cipher. |

| Descrição do reverso | Central shield bearing the Dutch coat of arms — a rampant lion facing left, crowned, holding a sword aloft in the right paw and a sheaf of arrows in the left, set against a horizontally lined field — surmounted by the royal crown with pearl band and floral ornaments. The denomination is divided on either side of the shield, with '10' to the left and 'C.' to the right, both in bold relief. Decorative floral or heraldic ornaments appear at the lower flanks of the shield. The design is crisp and characteristic of mid-nineteenth-century Dutch pattern coinage. |
