| Popis rubu | The reverse displays the denomination '10 CENTS' in bold serif lettering at the centre of the field, enclosed within a raised inner circle. The date '1943' appears below the denomination, and the mint mark 'C' for the Royal Canadian Mint is positioned at the base of the inner circle, partially obscured by a decorative scrollwork ornament. The issuer's name 'NEWFOUNDLAND' curves along the upper periphery between two dot stops, all within a beaded border consistent with the obverse. The lower portion of the inner circle is adorned with an elegant floral and scroll design in the style of the earlier Victorian reverse by de Saulles. |
