The king wears the Imperial State Crown, rendered in fine detail with fleurs-de-lis, crosses pattée, and a beaded band. The surrounding legend reads 'GEORGE VI KING AND EMPEROR OF INDIA', separated by a raised dot at the beginning, and the whole design is framed by a milled border of fine beads. |
