| Obverse description | The central round hole is surmounted by a St. Edward's Crown in the upper field, flanked on either side by symmetrical foliate scroll ornaments that curve gracefully around the perforation. The denomination TEN CENTS is inscribed in two lines at the base of the design. The circular legend GEORGIVS V REX ET IND:IMP: runs along the periphery, separated from the design by a beaded inner border, with a milled outer rim encircling the entire obverse. |
