Obverse lettering GEORGIVS V REX ET IND:IMP: TEN CENTS
Reverse description A pair of curved elephant tusks arc symmetrically around the central round hole, their tips pointing upward and inward to frame the numeral 10 displayed prominently above the perforation. Two small lozenge-shaped ornaments appear in the lower field on either side. The legend EAST AFRICA is inscribed along the upper periphery, while the date 1922 is positioned at the base, all within a beaded inner border and milled outer rim.
