| Aanvullende informatie |
Trinidad and Tobago gained independence from Britain in August 1962, but the new nation continued using the Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority's coinage until establishing its own central bank and issuing this first domestic series in 1966. The four-year window before the 1972 revision gives this type a relatively short production run across only a handful of date issues.
