Obverse description The obverse is printed in purple-grey tones and centres on an oval vignette portrait of Sun Yat-sen set within a guilloche border, flanked by red seal impressions. The issuer name 台灣銀行 (Bank of Taiwan) appears at the top in Chinese characters, with the denomination 壹角 (One Jiao) in large characters below the portrait. A red alphanumeric serial number and Chinese text restricting use to the Kinmen (金門) region are printed in the lower field, with the Republic of China year inscription along the bottom margin.

Reverse description The reverse is rendered in blue-grey and carries a central vignette of a neoclassical government building with a colonnaded facade, likely the Bank of Taiwan headquarters, with figures and a bicycle in the foreground. The English legend BANK OF TAIWAN arches above the vignette, while the denomination TEN CENTS appears within a decorative cartouche at the bottom. The numeral 10 is repeated in each corner, and the Chinese characters 金門 (Kinmen) flank the vignette at mid-height.
