Comments

Estada is a tiny municipality in the Huesca province of Aragon — during the Civil War, hundreds of Spanish local councils issued their own emergency fractional paper when coin disappeared from circulation almost overnight after July 1936. The Consejo Municipal de Estada was one of the smallest authorities to do so, which makes any survivor genuinely uncommon; most village-level emissions from this period were produced in very limited runs, used hard, and rarely archived.

The Gari Mon catalogue remains the primary reference for Aragonese local issues, and the B suffix here indicates a recognized variety, likely a printing or serial distinction from an earlier known type.
