Reverse description The reverse displays the denomination 10 CENT. in large bold numerals at the centre of a raised, slightly recessed circular field. The engraver's name BARRE appears in small capitals beneath the denomination, flanked by the mint mark A (Paris) to the right and a privy mark to the left. The circular legend GUYANE FRANÇAISE arcs around the upper periphery, while the date 1846 is positioned prominently along the lower border, all within a beaded inner rim.
