Descrizione del dritto	The national coat of arms of Ecuador occupies the central field, depicting a condor with spread wings perched atop an oval shield bearing Mount Chimborazo and a steamship on a river, with the sun above the shield and four zodiac signs flanking it. The shield is supported by fasces on either side and laurel and palm branches below. The circular legend 'REPUBLICA DEL ECUADOR' runs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, while the date '1946' appears in the lower field beneath the arms. A beaded border frames the entire design.
