| Obverse description | Pink and purple note with a large circular guilloche vignette at left bearing the denomination '10 CENTAVOS' in bold numerals. At centre, a green circular underprint carries the Banco Nacional Ultramarino steamship seal, flanked by the printed text 'DEZ CENTAVOS' and 'MOEDA CORRENTE'. The Portuguese royal arms appear in an octagonal frame at right, with the issuing place 'LOURENCO MARQUES' and date 'LISBOA, 5 de Novembro de 1914' inscribed across the lower portion alongside spaces for the Vice-Governor and Governor signatures. |
