| Reverse description | The reverse displays four characters and inscriptions arranged in cruciform around the central square perforation. The character 當 (Dang, meaning 'valued at') appears above the hole, 十 (Shi, meaning 'ten') below, with the Manchu script syllable 'Je' (ᠵᡝ) to the right and the Chinese character 浙 (Zhe, abbreviated reference to Zhejiang province mint) to the left, all executed in bold relief in regular and Manchu scripts. A plain raised rim borders the reverse field. The bilingual inscription confirms both the denomination and the issuing mint in accordance with standard Qing dynasty monetary conventions. |
