The dragon displays detailed scaled body work, horned head, and clawed extremities in the conventional Qing dynasty cash coin style. The circumferential Latin legend KIANG-SEE PROVINCE TEN CASH arcs around the upper periphery. The surface shows considerable wear and verdigris, with the Soviet countermark applied over portions of the design, partially obscuring original detail. |
