Reverse description Plain reverse field featuring two Chinese characters in regular script arranged vertically above and below the central square hole. The upper character 桂 (Gui) identifies the Guilin mint in Guangxi province, while the lower character 十 (Shi) denotes the denomination of ten cash. Both characters are cast in raised relief with bold, clean strokes, set within inner and outer raised rims consistent with the obverse. The reverse retains the same flat-field casting style characteristic of early Ming provincial mint production.
