The four numerals of the date are placed individually at each corner of the cross in the quadrants of the field: 1, 7, 3, 4 (as an example date within the 1722–1734 series). An outer beaded or cable border encircles the entire design, consistent with the cast technique used throughout this series of bazarucos issued for Portuguese India. |
