| Descrizione del dritto | Central field bears the Portuguese royal coat of arms, featuring the traditional escutcheon with five quinas (bezants) in saltire, surmounted by an elaborate and highly ornate crown rendered in bold relief characteristic of cast coinage. The mint letters D and B flank the shield on either side, identifying the Damão-to-Baçaim mintage authority. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, itself surrounded by a rope or cable border running along the coin's periphery. The crude, heavily stylized execution is typical of cast copper-alloy coinage produced for the Portuguese Estado da India during the reign of João V. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Central motif displays the Cross of the Order of Christ — a broad, plain cross with distinctive stepped or flared terminals — rendered in high relief within a double-ring inner border. The four numerals of the date are placed individually at each corner of the cross in the quadrants of the field: 1, 7, 3, 4 (as an example date within the 1722–1734 series). An outer beaded or cable border encircles the entire design, consistent with the cast technique used throughout this series of bazarucos issued for Portuguese India. |
