10 Baht - Rama IX Office of the Comptroller General

Issued to mark the centenary of the Comptroller General's Department, established in 1890 under Rama V as part of a sweeping fiscal modernization program that brought Thailand's public accounts under centralized royal oversight for the first time. The department was modeled in part on European treasury systems introduced during Chulalongkorn's administrative reforms — the same wave of changes that abolished the traditional sakdina-based revenue collection.

Mintage for commemorative 10 Baht pieces of this period was typically modest, with limited secondary circulation outside the issuing occasion.
