Obverse description Conjoined busts of King Rama V (Chulalongkorn) at left and King Rama IX (Bhumibol Adulyadej) at right, both in military uniform, facing slightly right. The effigy of Rama V is positioned behind and to the left, with a mustache, while Rama IX wears spectacles. Thai legends identifying each monarch appear in the lower left and lower right fields, with a decorative foliate ornament at the bottom center of the field.
