| 背面描述 | Central device comprises a circular medallion bearing the emblem of the Thai Ministry of the Interior — a mythical Garuda-like figure rendered in ornate traditional Thai artistic style, surrounded by decorative scrollwork. Curved Thai-script legend at upper periphery reads '๑๐๐ ปี กระทรวงมหาดไทย' (100 Years of the Ministry of the Interior) and 'ประเทศไทย' (Thailand). The denomination '๑๐ บาท' (10 Baht) is inscribed in the lower field, flanked by the founding and centenary dates '๑ เมษายน ๒๔๓๕–๒๕๓๕' (1 April BE 2435–2535), corresponding to 1892–1992 CE. |

Issued to mark the centenary of Thailand's Ministry of the Interior, founded in 1892 under Prince Damrong Rajanubhab, who restructured provincial administration so thoroughly that his framework remained essentially intact for most of the twentieth century. The ministry's first century coincided with Thailand's navigation of colonial pressure from both Britain and France, making its administrative consolidation a matter of national survival as much as governance.
