Aanvullende informatie

Issued to mark Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn's 36th birthday in 1988, this commemorative was produced during a particularly active period for Thai commemorative coinage — the Royal Thai Mint released numerous royal family issues through the late 1980s as the monarchy leaned into numismatic programs as a form of public engagement. Vajiralongkorn would not ascend to the throne until 2016, following the death of his father Bhumibol Adulyadej after a 70-year reign.
