Obverse description Uniformed bust of Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn facing slightly right, depicted in military dress uniform with ornate epaulettes and decorative collar detail. The effigy occupies the central field with a plain background. A curved Thai legend runs along the left and right periphery, identifying the subject by his full royal title and name.

Reverse description Central device depicts the Crown Prince's royal cypher surmounted by a tiered spired crown (chada) radiating stylized lightning bolts symmetrically into the field, symbolizing royal splendor. Below the central emblem, the denomination '๑๐' (10) appears to the lower left and the word 'บาท' (Baht) to the lower right. The legend 'ประเทศไทย' (Thailand) is inscribed along the lower rim. A curved Thai inscription along the upper periphery records the commemorative occasion — the 36th birthday anniversary of the Crown Prince on 28 July 2531 (1988).
