| 正面描述 | Bimetallic coin depicting two conjoined busts in left-facing profile within the aluminium bronze centre: King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in the foreground wearing a suit and glasses, and King Rama V (Chulalongkorn) partially visible behind him. The copper-nickel outer ring carries the Thai-script royal names and honorifics flanking left and right, with the country name 'ประเทศไทย' (Thailand) inscribed along the lower arc and the Buddhist Era date '๒๕๔๘' (2548 / 2005) completing the legend. |

The Budget Inspection Department of Thailand traces its origins to 1933, when it was established in the immediate aftermath of the Siamese Revolution of 1932 — the coup that ended absolute monarchy and restructured state financial oversight under a constitutional framework. The commemorative issue marks the department's 72nd anniversary. Thailand's bimetallic 10 Baht commemorative program, which expanded significantly under Rama IX, produced dozens of institutional anniversary coins through the 1990s and 2000s, many with mintages modest enough that they saw little genuine circulation.
