Obverse description At center, the arms of the Bank of Abkhazia are depicted in relief on a smooth field, with the Abkhazian inscription АҦСНЫ АБАНК (The Bank of Abkhazia) below. A semicircular legend above the arms reads 10 ҦСАРК (10 Apsars), indicating the denomination. Along the left rim, the metal symbol and fineness designation Ag 925 are inscribed in accordance with the Mendeleev Periodic Table, while the Moscow Mint mark ММД appears along the right rim. The date of issue, 2010, is inscribed in raised lettering on a matted field in the lower portion of the coin.
