Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena in right profile, wearing a crested Attic helmet. The goddess's facial features are rendered in the compact, summary style characteristic of early Pergamene civic bronze coinage. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical ancient wear and green patination consistent with a small bronze of this period.

Reverse description Two six-pointed stars arranged side by side within the field, with the letter Q (or a monogram) positioned above between them. The design is struck on a small, irregularly shaped flan with the devices boldly rendered despite the diminutive module. The reverse exhibits the rough, somewhat uneven surface typical of early Hellenistic municipal bronze issues of Pergamon.
