Obverse description Prow of a galley facing right, rendered in low relief with clearly delineated oar banks visible along the hull. The prow projects boldly into the right field, consistent with the civic coinage tradition of Phaselis, a Lycian coastal city whose economy and identity were closely tied to maritime commerce. The surface exhibits the characteristic irregular flan and rough texture typical of small hammered bronze issues of the Hellenistic period.
