| Obverse description | Portrait of Sun Yat-sen in an oval vignette at left centre, set against a fine guilloche underprint in olive-green tones. The denomination 壹萬圓 appears in large characters at centre, flanked by corner value panels reading 壹萬. A scenic mountain and river landscape vignette occupies the right portion of the note, with the bank title 中央銀行 in large characters across the top. The serial number and issue year inscription appear along the lower margin. |
