背面描述 Central field features a solitary tall pine tree rendered in bold silhouette, rising from a calm coastal landscape with gently receding shoreline, evoking the iconic 'Miracle Pine' of Rikuzentakata that survived the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami. Multiple origami cranes in various stages of flight are depicted in relief across the middle field, symbolizing perseverance and the traditional Japanese wish for recovery. Dramatic clouds fill the upper background in finely detailed relief. The circular legend がんばろう日本 (Let's do our best, Japan) is inscribed in Hiragana and Kanji around the upper border, while the date 平成27年 (Year 27 of Heisei) appears across the lower border, flanked by raised bullet points. The design is executed in proof finish with deeply frosted motifs contrasting against polished mirror fields, enclosed within a beaded inner rim.

附加信息

Issued as the third in Japan's official series commemorating the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 2011, this coin was part of a fundraising program through which a portion of proceeds supported reconstruction efforts in Tōhoku. The 2011 disaster killed nearly 20,000 people and triggered the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear crisis — the most severe nuclear accident since Chernobyl.

The series ran across multiple years and denominations, with the gold 10,000-yen pieces carrying the highest face value and tightest mintage controls of the program.
