| Obverse description | The central device features the Soyombo, Mongolia's national symbol, rendered in high relief against a radiate background of fine lines. The Soyombo emblem — comprising the sacred fire, sun, moon, yin-yang, and vertical bars — is flanked on each side by stylised clouds or dragons in the lower field. The denomination '10 000' appears at the top of the field, with 'MONGOLIA' inscribed vertically at the right. The legend '1 OZ 9999 GOLD' is placed in the lower exergue, and the Mongolian script legend appears at the left. The entire design is bordered by an ornate traditional Mongolian key-pattern (meander) rim. |
