| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is dominated by two finely engraved portrait busts in profile facing each other at the centre: a male figure wearing a broad-brimmed hat on the left, and a bare-headed female figure with flowing hair on the right, separated by an intricately knotted Celtic-style interlace column. The portraits are framed by an ornate border of scroll and rope motifs with the denomination "10000" repeated in teal numerals at the sides and along the upper and lower margins.
