The signature of Alassane Ouattara on the 1992 date appears in his capacity as BCEAO Governor — a post he held while simultaneously serving as Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire, an overlap that reflects the unusual dual role senior BCEAO officials sometimes occupied within member-state governments. He left both positions in late 1993, which is why his name disappears after the first year of this series.
Charles Konan Banny's signature persists across six consecutive years on the right-hand side, the longest unbroken run in this emission. He was later appointed Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire in 2005 under international pressure following the Ivorian civil conflict.
