| Obverse description | Central field features a coloured depiction of a coiled Nikol'sky's viper (Vipera nikolskii) rendered in purple and dark grey tones, resting above a stylised rocky ground. A sprig of pine needles arches across the upper field behind the snake. The Latin species name 'Vipera nikolskii' is inscribed along the upper legend, with the Ukrainian Cyrillic equivalent 'Гадюка Нікольського' along the lower legend. The date '2021' is divided either side of the central design within the inner circle. |
