| Obverse description | St. Mark standing at left in flowing robes, presenting a staff surmounted by a cross to the kneeling Doge at right, with the abbreviation DVX inscribed vertically between the two figures. The composition follows the traditional Venetian zecchino iconography, conveying the divine investiture of the Doge's authority. The legend naming Silvestro Valier as Doge and St. Mark as patron of Venice runs along the upper and outer border of the field. |

| Reverse description | Full-length frontal figure of Christ in Majesty, nimbed and robed, standing within a beaded pointed oval (vesica piscis) bordered by a ring of six-pointed stars. Christ raises his right hand in benediction and holds the Gospels in his left. The surrounding Latin legend, a votive inscription invoking Christ as ruler, encircles the entire composition in the outer border, consistent with the reverse type used on Venetian zecchini throughout the Republic's coinage. |
