Reverse description The reverse displays the tall, elongated papal coat of arms of Benedict XIV, rendered as an ornate baroque cartouche shield divided per pale, featuring vertical fluting characteristic of the Lambertini family arms. The shield is surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed Keys of Saint Peter, with a spread eagle displayed above the tiara as a further heraldic emblem. Elaborate acanthus-scroll mantling flanks the shield on both sides. The circumferential Latin legend REPENTE DE CŒLO — meaning 'Suddenly from Heaven' — is distributed around the field, reading from the lower left to the upper right. The entire composition is enclosed within a fine milled beaded border.
