| Reverse description | The reverse displays the denomination 壹圓 (One Yuan) in two large Chinese characters arranged vertically within the central field, enclosed by a symmetrical wreath of grain or floral sprigs tied at the base, their branches sweeping upward to frame the inscription. The wreath is rendered in fine relief with detailed leaf forms, consistent with the standard Yuan Shikai dollar reverse design. A continuous denticulated border runs along the inner edge of the reeded rim. The field is otherwise plain, allowing the denomination characters to dominate the composition in a bold, legible manner. |
