The circumferential Latin legend KIANG NAN PROVINCE arcs across the upper half, while 7 MACE AND 2 CANDAREENS curves along the lower half, each separated by a decorative rosette or asterisk device at either side. The entire design is bounded by a beaded border at the rim, consistent with the milled production of the Kiangnan Mint. |
