Small Manchu script characters appear between the main legends at the cardinal points. Surrounding the beaded circle, a continuous outer legend in Chinese characters reads the provincial name, reign year, and denomination (安徽省造二十三年庫平七錢二分), with the engraver's initials A.S. and T.C. visible within the inner field.
