| 备注 |
The Central Bank of China's 1936 1 Yuan series came out of a relatively stable period for Nationalist monetary policy, just a year after the landmark fabi currency reform of November 1935, which abolished the silver standard and consolidated note-issuing authority among three government banks. This note is a direct product of that consolidation — an attempt to put a unified, credible currency into everyday hands across Republic of China territory.
Chung Hwa Book Company was primarily a publishing and printing house, not a specialist security printer, which occasionally shows in the consistency of impression across the series. Notes from this printer can exhibit variation in ink density between sheets of the same run.
