The large cartouche to the left carries the denomination 壹圓 (One Yuan), while the issuing authority inscription 中央銀行 runs across the top margin and the date legend 中華民國二十五年印 appears along the lower margin. Serial numbers in red are printed at upper left and upper right. |

| Descripción del reverso | Printed in brown, the reverse is dominated by an intricate guilloche lathe-work pattern centred on a numeral '1' medallion within an ornate frame carrying the panel ONE YUAN and the inscription NATIONAL CURRENCY. THE CENTRAL BANK OF CHINA arches across the top, and repeated numeral '1' vignettes occupy either side of the central panel; two facsimile manuscript signatures of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager appear below the central frame. The year 1936 and the printer's imprint CHUNG HWA BOOK CO., LTD. are set along the lower portion. |
