The emblem rests above a decorative scroll bearing an inscription in Hangul. Flanking the base of the emblem are two stylised floral sprigs. The Hangul legend 조선민주주의인민공화국중앙은행 curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 원 and the date 2001 appear in the lower field. |
