Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing bust of Johann II, Prince of Liechtenstein, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair. The effigy is centered in the field, truncated at the neck, with the portrait executed in a naturalistic 19th-century academic style. A circular beaded border frames the design, with the mint mark 'A' appearing at the base of the truncation. The circumferential legend reads 'JOHANN II· FÜRST ZU LIECHTENSTEIN' in raised Latin capitals, distributed evenly around the periphery.
