The circular legend ESTADOS UNIDOS DE VENEZUELA arcs around the upper periphery, while the weight, date and fineness GRAM. 25 • 1874 • LEI 900 are inscribed along the lower periphery. The design is executed in high relief in the refined French academic style of the Paris Mint engravers. |
