The "Varaždinka" is a local complementary currency issued by the Varaždinska Banka Dobrih Emocija — loosely, the Varaždin Bank of Good Emotions — as part of Croatia's small but active alternative currency movement that gained modest traction in the years following the 2008 financial crisis.
