| Obverse description | Cast copper cash coin featuring a central square hole surrounded by a plain inner rim. The obverse legend reads 天嗣通寶 (Thiên Tư Thông Bảo) arranged in the traditional four-character format: top, bottom, right, left around the central perforation. The characters are rendered in regular script (kaishu) with moderate relief against a flat field. The outer rim is raised and well-defined, consistent with Lý Dynasty casting conventions. |
