Reverse description Central device depicts a stylized crown or châtel tournois — the symbol of Tours — rendered in the manner of the French Gros Tournois prototype, set within a beaded inner circle. Twelve fleurs-de-lis are arranged around the inner circle, alternating with small cross motifs, forming the characteristic outer ring of the Tournois type. The legend TVRONVS CIVIS encircles the design in the outer ring, identifying the coin's typological reference to the city of Tours. The engraving is bold and Gothic in character, consistent with late 14th-century Rhenish hammered silver coinage.
