Obverse description Central field bears a plain Greek cross within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by a double concentric legend separated by a beaded border. The outer legend reads the ruler's name and titles in Latin, while the inner legend continues the devotional inscription. The lettering is in Gothic minuscule style typical of Rhenish imitations of the Gros Tournois. The overall composition closely follows the French Tournois prototype, with the characteristic double-ring layout framing the central cross motif.
