| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is entirely occupied by a boldly executed thuluth calligraphic inscription filling the flan, reading the royal titulature of Fat'h Ali Shah Qajar. The legend 'Al-Sultan Fat'h Ali Shah Qajar' is rendered in sweeping, interlocking strokes characteristic of the Qajar court calligraphic tradition, with the regnal year 1213 AH incorporated into the lower field. The irregular hammered flan imparts an organic border to the design, and the raised lettering stands prominently against the flat gold field with no additional decorative motifs. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Fat'h Ali Shah's early gold tumans were struck in the immediate aftermath of his consolidation of power following the death of Agha Mohammad Khan in 1797 — a succession that was anything but smooth, with rival claimants requiring military suppression before the new shah could stabilize his treasury. The Kashan mint was one of several provincial facilities operating under inconsistent supervision during this period, which accounts for the variation in fabric and striking pressure seen across survivors from this issue.
KM#739 is known with multiple die combinations from Kashan, and attribution to a specific regnal year within this bracket often depends on partially legible mint dates.
